Lunch With Friends, Monthly Senior Luncheon
Lunch With Friends is a monthly lunch program designed for seniors aged 60 and older, providing an opportunity for fellowship, friendship, and a delicious meal prepared by local restaurants and organizations. The event takes place on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Marco Lutheran Church, located at 525 N. Collier Blvd. Attendance is free.

Lunch With Friends is a collaborative effort between Al’s Pals, Marco Lutheran Church, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry, and the YMCA of Collier County. Meals are generously provided by various sponsors representing local restaurants and community groups. Organizations interested in sponsoring a luncheon are encouraged to reach out to Allyson Richards at allysonrichards@me.com.

Care and Share
Every month, the Pantry provides a nutritionally balanced box of canned fruits and vegetables, grains, protein, other nonperishable food and additional items as needed for the elderly through The Harry Chapin Food Bank Care and Share supplemental food program.

This initiative decreases the compromising decisions between food, rent and medication often faced by those on limited or fixed incomes.  For more information:

How the Pantry Works

Using a Pantry box truck and pick-up truck, our Volunteers transport free food and buy additional food as needed from our Suppliers and Donors. Food is then weighed, dated, marked, stored, and eventually shelved or pre-packed into bags for our various outreaches. The food is distributed at the Food Pantry location every Saturday, via appointments on Tuesdays, and at Mobile Outreaches as shown above in the Mobile Pantries section. If you need an appointment on Tuesday, please call (239) 259-5188.
Who Qualifies?
Residents of Florida in need of food qualify for assistance.
