Care and Share
Every month, the Pantry provides a nutritionally balanced box of canned fruits and vegetables, grains, protein, other nonperishable food and additional items as needed for the elderly through The Harry Chapin Food Bank Care and Share supplemental food program.

This initiative decreases the compromising decisions between food, rent and medication often faced by those on limited or fixed incomes.  For more information:

How the Pantry Works

Using a Pantry box truck and pick-up truck, our Volunteers transport free food and buy additional food as needed from our Suppliers and Donors. Food is then weighed, dated, marked, stored, and eventually shelved or pre-packed into bags for our various outreaches. The food is distributed at the Food Pantry location every Saturday, via appointments Monday through Friday, and at weekly Friday Mobile Outreaches. Mobile Outreaches are done jointly with Al’s Pals, a local Volunteer organization headed by Allyson Richards.
Who Qualifies?
Residents of Collier County in need of food qualify for assistance.
